Where is the best place to buy Jewelry in Kansas City?
I’ve never really bought much jewelry before and was looking for a good store that I would be able to buy some jewelry for my girlfriend for Christmas. Would I be ok going to a Helzberg/Jareds/Kay jewelry type of store, or would they be way overpriced and I wouldn’t get my money’s worth out of them? Or are there any smaller Jewelry stores in the area where I can get a better deal on a better cut and quality of jewelry?

What percent do Jewelers recommend one should pay out of their annual salary towards jewelry for a loved one?
I heard some where that jewelry stores sudgest you pay 50% of your annual salary towards jewelry for a boyfriend/girlfriend and I wonder if that’s true.

Well its a long story- there’s a woman who responded to my add on Facebook marketplace and she wants to give me 0 dollars for a diamond necklace that is not even the greatest quality. I want to do the right thing and give her a good price. Are there any jewelry stores that offer free appraisals? If not, how much could one run for?
How does one become a jewelry broker?
I have often seen expensively dressed men/women go into jewelry stores (Helzberg, etc) with a bag that contains jewelry. Are they selling this to the store? If not, what does this person do?
